Piano Tuning

A professionally tuned piano is essential to allow the player to successfully learn and enjoy their instrument. Most pianos should be tuned twice a year due to climatic changes in temperature and humidity. Depending on the age of the piano and how often it is played, this may need to be more frequent.

Pianos have many thousands of moving parts and hundred of strings. Each tuning is also an opportunity to make sure everything is working properly.

Piano sales

I have access to a wide range of pianos, upright and grands. I can work with you to find the perfect piano for your needs. I can also help advise if you have found a piano which you might like to buy, giving it an appraisal before you purchase and helping with removals if needed.

Restoration

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is restoring quality pianos and other keyboard instruments to their former glory. I have worked on a lot of pianos, harpsichords and spinets over the years and seeing them revived for musicians to enjoy again is very rewarding.

Piano Removals
